Our client a leader in their Industry is seeking to find a dynamic person to join their growing team. The successful candidate will be accountable for helping to develop solutions that ensure the client can continue to deliver exceptional customer experiences. The position also offers the candidate to opportunity to mentor others and provide technical leadership. Key Responsibilities - Develop software in the context of a focused project, while ensuring alignment to current and developing architecture, by assuming technical leadership role on medium to large projects
- Understand and help refine un-stated requirements
- Conduct design reviews
- Exercise leadership through superior technical and domain knowledge
- Aid in the development of architectural framework and design
- Steward the programming team's methodology and standards
- Take responsibility for the quality of deliverables
- Manage technical issues and the work of other developers. Routinely advise programmers on coding, design, testing/debugging and proactively identify areas for improvement, seek solutions and make recommendations
Core Skills: - 5+ years of experience with Oracle BRM
- Experience with data migration, import, legacy conversion required
- Databases: Oracle (DBA experience an asset)
- Oracle BRM experience must include Oracle BRM 7.0 or higher
- Platforms and OS: Apache Web server, some IIS, Unix/Linux, Windows OS
- Significant experience in internet programming and in developing/designing traditional software systems
- Significant programming knowledge in Java and internet related programming languages and technologies
- Languages: C, Perl, SQL, HTML, Adobe's Flex, PHP, Lisp, VB
