Software Developers

Our client is currently looking to add talented and passionate Software Developers to its world class product development team. Their web-based application has been developed using Sun's J2EE framework (including the EJB, JMS, Servlet and JSP technologies).

Their development team is organized in a flat structure where everyone is encouraged to contribute to the evolution of their product and lead projects within the application. Each developer is empowered and encouraged to make core decisions about how they create and deliver market solutions. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Work in collaboration with a team of software developers to build a world-class global financial software application to help our client be the market leader.
• Lead projects as necessary.

Core Skills:

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
• History of applying enterprise design patterns in J2EE/Java EE 5
• Experience with Spring (3.x), Struts, jstl, and custom tag development
• Experience with dynamic webapps using GWT and/or jQuery
• Strong working knowledge of SQL; ability to work in Linux

Additional Skills:

• Knowledge of financial markets; experience producing and releasing commercial ASP-model software
• Previous agile development experience; experience with unit and integration testing
• Hands-on experience with open source software; experience with Weblogic (10.x) and Oracle (10g)
